| Fly-Tying THE WARREN ZEVON (Named for the great American Singer songwriter who never achieved the fame he deserved during his lifetime.) The 'Warren Zevon', is a fairly basic damsel nymph which, nonetheless, has been extremely successful with the White Swan Fly-fishers since its inception. Currently (September 2009) it has taken 160+ fish. Ribbing the fly has been proved to actually reduce takes so don't bother with it. Fish it with a slow, jerky retrieve. We've found it to be as good or better than other damsel nymph imitations - try it yourself and let us know how you fare!
